Miles has been crawling for a couple of months now. He actually first started the army crawl before he could completely sit up on his own! I should have known then, that he was going to keep us on our toes! He's been pulling up on everything now for a few weeks and this week as I was preparing dinner - pushed the stool over to the cabinet, used it to stand up and proceeded to try to get into the cabinets. Maybe it's just been too long, but I don't remember having to baby proof so early with Elle and Brooks! Needless to say, we are having to make some changes already at 8 months with this one! I've also added one of Elle and Miles. If there was ever any questions who he looks like...here's you answer!

Race Day
Last weekend the whole family participated in Disney's Tower of Terror race weekend. Elle and Brooks competed in the 200m dash, Jay and I ran the 13K (8.1m), and Miles was our #1 fan! Grandad was even in town for the fun! The kids did so well! If you ever have a chance to run a Disney race (kids or adults) I would highly recommend it! It is so well done. I am VERY proud to say that Elle won her race! They divided her age group into two waves and she won her wave. She is such a great runner. I hope she keeps it up! It was a great weekend and something we hope to do a lot more of as a family!

Birthday Boys!
Happy Birthday Brooks and Jay! Jay's birthday was yesterday, and Brooks' is today. We have had fun celebrating all weekend! My mom and dad (aka Caki and Pops) came in town with my sister and her two boys this weekend for Brooks' birthday party. It was so much fun having them here! Brooks and Easton are best buddies and having him there made his birthday complete! Brooks chose a bowling birthday party with a race car theme. His party was on Saturday. Yesterday, for Jay's birthday, the kids and I baked hima cake and went out to dinner. It was a great day! And today...to top it all off...Brooks spent his actual birthday at the Magic Kingdom celebrating with Mickey! Thanks to Mrs. Rachael for taking him!! They had a great time, and as you can see he was exhausted from his fun day!

Winter Garden Music Fest
We live in the wonderfully quaint town of Winter Garden outside of Orlando. They have wonderful art festivals, music festivals, farmers markets, etc. And we living withing walking distance of it all! Two weekends ago (sorry I am so behind!) was the annual Music Fest. We walked down with our good friends/neighbors, the Bradfords, and had a fun evening of face painting, barbeque, music and games for the kids!

Brooks' First Field Trip
Brooks had his first field trip last week at Green Meadow's Farm. This was where Elle also had her first field trip in Pre-K 3! It is really a lot of fun for the kids. Elle was sad she didn't get to go this year, so we may have to make another trip as a family. Jay went along with Brooks' class. They had a great day!

Splish Splash! I was Taking a Bath...
Miles has recently graduated from the sink to the big tub with the "big kids"! I have bathed him by himself in the big tub, but this was our first attempt with all three. They had a great time together. I will enjoy this while it lasts, because Elle is getting so big, and Brooks would rather take showers :( They are growing up too fast! Here are some cute pictures that I snapped during bath time.

My Sweet Boys
Brooks went into Miles' room one morning recently before I could go in to get him and when I did go in, I found them BOTH in the crib! They were so happy and making each other laugh. I am thinking that putting them both in the crib daily to entertain each other for a while might not be such a bad idea!! Especially since Miles is now crawling, unplugging lamps, and putting EVERYTHING in his mouth. They have a special bond already and I cannot wait to watch them grow up together!
