I FINALLY caught a smile on camera today! I have been trying so hard to get him to smile, but they have been hard to capture. The picture is a little blurry, but it will do!

SEC Championship Game

The Vols made it to the SEC Championship game in Tampa today, so Jay and I decided to pack up the family and head over. Brooks has been dying to see a game, and Jay couldn't stand them being this close and not being there. Unfortunately they lost in a nail-biting game, but we still had a great time! We were able to get a private suite of box seats from some fans whose team didn't make it and decided not to stick around. It was so nice to have our own bathroom, two TVs, large comfy seats, and room to walk Miles around when needed. It was a great family day - despite the loss! Let's hope the Vols make a better showing in the tournament next weekend!!

Happy Birthday!

Miles and I shared a birthday today...kind of. Miles is one month old today! Hard to believe it's already been a month. We had his check-up at the doc this morning and he is now weighing 8lb. 13oz. and is 21 3/4 inches long! That is a big jump from 6 lb. 14 oz. at our last visit!
I turned the big 32 today. Not nearly as exciting as one month. However, I had a great day followed by a nice family dinner complete with cake and ice cream. The kids were thrilled about that. Although, Brooks was a little disappointed when he asked why he didn't get a "goodie bag".
Jay's dad arrived last evening and it has been nice to have him here. The kids are enjoying his company and I got to get away for some "me" time today for a pedicure!
