Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

It is by far the coldest winter we have had since we have lived in Florida. According to the news, I think it's more like the coldest it's been for any length of time in Central Florida since the 80's. For those of you who think we are just whining about this so-called "cold" weather, thinking to yourselves that we don't really know what cold is.....Here is a picture of my plants this weekend! Take freezing cold weather, and add a little Florida humidity, and you've got bone chilling cold that I would put up against anywhere else in the south east right now! Hopefully we'll be back up to our usual 60's and 70's by next week!

New Year's Resolution #1: to update the blog more frequently! So sorry for those of you out there who check in regularly. I have gotten so bad about letting weeks go by with no posts. I guess three children and working full time again has something to do with that, but no excuses any more!

We had a wonderful Christmas! We spent most of our time in Tennessee with Jay's family and friends and were able to stop and see my family in South Carolina along the way. We took Elle and Brooks over to Sugar Mtn. in North Carolina
to go snow tubing one day. They had a great time in the snow, but we were all FREEZING! Our Florida blood isn't used to temps in the 20's. We were back in Orlando by New Year's and now are back in full swing at work and school.
