Catching up...

Elle and I at a tea party wearing our hats made of gift wrap!

I cannot believe that it is already almost July. Summer is flying by. It has been a busy one for sure. I apologize to Jay and our Dads for not posting a "Happy Father's Day" tribute. Jay is the best husband and father I could have asked for and I do not take that for granted! I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day! The kids and I are leaving in a couple of days to spend some time with my family. We also look forward to seeing my dear friend Colby who is visiting from Egypt! Jay is going to Tennessee to see his family and spend time with his Grandfather. We hope to all be together some time next week. When we get back I will have lots of great pictures to share! In the meantime, have a wonderful Independence Day!

4 Months Old

Miles is 4 months old now! Actually he's a little more than 4 months now, but I'm just getting around to this update! Time flies. He had his 4 month check up last week and is up to 16 lb. 5 oz. I cannot remember his length....I think I was telling Elle and Brooks to sit down and be quiet when they measured him....but I do remember that he is in the 80th percentile for weight, and 90th percentile for height. So, needless to say he's a big boy! He is so happy and is such a blessing!

Daddy's Boy

Never in my life have a seen a boy want to be more like his Daddy than Brooks! If it was up to Brooks he would spend every waking hour with Jay. Thankfully he has a wonderful Father who adores him just as much and is a great role model! Here are a couple of cute picture that I've gotten recently of Brooks following in his Daddy's footsteps. He has been cutting the grass with Jay for over a year now (since he got his own toy lawnmower). Just a couple of weeks ago, he added some headphones to be even more like Jay! So cute!

Last Day of Kindergarten

Today was Elle's last day of Kindergarten! I cannot believe how this year has flown by. That may have something to do with the fact that since she began kindergarten in August, I have graduated with my Master's Degree and had a baby! I am really having a hard time coming to grips with the fact that Elle will be in first grade. Kindergarten still had a "baby" quality to it that was comforting, but 1st grade just sounds so grown up! It is also hard to believe how much she has grown this year! We are so proud of her. Here is a picture of Elle's first day of Kindergarten and one of her last. She has changed so much! We are looking forward to a great summer! I am happy to be able to be at home with my three precious babies for a few more months. Then back to work in August...

Claire, Brian, & Lila's Visit

We were so happy to have Claire, Brian, and Lila here this weekend. We don't get to see them enough, and the kids loved playing with their cousin, Lila! Lila will be one year old next week!! Here are a few cute shots from their visit!
